Awhile back, I was contacted by CSN Stores to do either a product review or a product giveaway. If you've never heard of CSN Stores, it's basically a website where you have access to 200+ sites that offer a large selection of home and office goods, from TV stands to bedding to cookware to diaper bags and more! Leading brands on CSN Stores' sites include: La-Z-Boy, Herman Miller, iittala, Kartell, LG, Rachael Ray, Sanyo, Diaper Dude and many, many others. Click here to visit the CSN Stores to learn more!
After some consideration, which took me all of 1 minute, I decided to do a giveaway and with summer coming and ice cream being one of my favorite desserts, why not a giveaway for a Cuisinart Automatic Frozen Yogurt, Ice Cream and Sorbet Maker and a Deni Electric Ice Scream Scoop?
PRIZE GIVEAWAY

My mother had an ice cream maker growing up. I have been dreaming of one for our family ( plus extra neighborhood kids). I make my own homemade organic yogurt and we collect blackberries in the summer so we would make sugar free, fat free, organic homemade frozen yogurt, beautifully colored by the blackberries. A treat like this makes all the hard work and prickled fingertips worth it. ( I might see if it makes frozen creamy margarita sherbet after the kids are asleep, too).
ReplyDeleteAlso did Optional Entry 3/ tweeted :)
ReplyDeletegourmetpigs at gmail dot com
I would make black sesame ice cream with organic milk. Then I would try making green tea ice cream. And then maybe some cherry ice cream with bourbon or brandy.

Thank you for th opportunity to enter! I would love to be able to make lemon gelato as well as a yummy version of coconut gelato using no sugar or hfcs. Having recently learned of some health issues I'm determined to fight the little nasties lurking in my body. Along with a more nutritious diet being implemented, I like those listed above love to reward myself with the occasional treat! I'm hoping to be a good role model for my two daughters in this new adventure. Thanks again for the opportunity to enter.

I am about to start making my own yogurt to see if it helps my daughter's GI issues. I learned I can take that yogurt and use it in the ice cream maker. I was specifically looking at this Cuisinart model. It has great reviews! So if I win (or if I buy it), I plan to make very plain ice cream from yogurt that I will make.

ReplyDeleteckariya at gmail dot com
I started making ice cream cakes for family and friends when I first started my online bakery business. I've always wanted to learn to make my own gourmet ice cream concoctions to include with my cake creations and this would definitely be the icing on my cake (pun intended..LOL!) to win this ice cream maker and scoop. I have been playing around with a cinnamon raisin ice cream to spread in between layers of my 6-Layer Carrot Spice Cake ~ so if I win, this would be the first recipe I use. Yummm!
